Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time unified title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional face-off, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
